Overview

The Hotel Saratoga is located at a privileged intersection in the Old Havana, the corner of Paseo del Prado and Dragones (famous in the decade of the 30?s for their outdoor activities, gastronomy services and live music), in front of the famous Partagás Cigar Factory. The Fraternity Park, with its beautiful palm trees, is at the other side of Paseo del Prado. The hotel is of neoclassical style, with a central atrium, large windows of French window shades and an ample porch.

Accommodation

There are Deluxe Patio rooms on all floors; these overlook the courtyard with its magnificent glass and aluminum skylight, and some rooms look onto the mezzanine. The decoration of the Deluxe Patio rooms features light color shades with a touch of mahogany, marble and Cuban ceramic tile floors, and comfortable and attractive furniture.

The Junior Suites Saratoga have fabulous views of the National Capitol and Fraternity Park, and those on the vantage point on top floor reward the guests with a panoramic view of the city. The suites with the higher ceilings have a colonial style, with Cuban tile floors and more traditional designs. The rooms with a more modern touch have benches that run along the outer wall and are nicely decorated with comfortable cushions for a rewarding rest.

The Capitolio Suites have a sitting area, bedroom and two bathrooms. The en-suite bathroom features a colonial style bathtub and a separate shower. These suites have marble floors and are double height.

The spacious Prado Suites have the bedroom on the upper level, with an elegant bed with canopy and en-suite bathroom. The upper level overlooks the sitting area with its dining table and separate bathroom for visitors. These suites have full floor to ceiling windows and a balcony with a superb view of the city.

The Habana Suites have doors connecting it to another Junior Suite bedroom, making them perfect family suites. These large and elegant corner suites, with their double height, have a spacious bedroom, floor to ceiling windows and balconies with wrought iron railing. They feature a roomy sitting area with a dining table, comfortable and elegant furniture, and the works of Cuban contemporary painters. The spacious bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a colonial bathtub and a separate shower.

Restaurants and Bars

Enjoy the exquisite Cuban and international kitchen prepared by our chef in the elegant and eclectic Anacaona Restaurant, which gets its name from the legendary all-women orchestra that used to play at the Aires Libres of the hotel.

From the Terrace Mirador, perched on the top floor of the hotel, visitors have a 270º view of all Havana, the bay and Caribbean Sea.

The Anacaona Bar is the anteroom entrance to the Anacaona Restaurant and there you can enjoy a wide selection of Cuban and international cocktails, among them, mojitos, daiquiris and rums, come into contact with the renowned Cuban cigars.

The Mezzanine Bar boasts a beautiful mural by Cuban painter Juan Carlos Botello, inserted in wooden frames depicting the exuberant vegetation of the Cuban countryside.

Its counter, tables and comfortable chairs make this a magnificent place to meet and have a morning cup of coffee, savor a continental breakfast or a light lunch, an afternoon tea, snack or a drink or two at night. The Mezzanine Bar also has 24-hr wireless internet access (WiFi).
