Overview - Golden Star Hotel
The 4 star Golden Star Hotel was recently reopened after extensive refurbishment - this hotel is a beautiful historic building right in the heart of the Lesser Town, just a few minutes walk from Charles Bridge and just under Prague Castle. The first written notes of the building date back to 1372 when it was owned by the Mayor of Hradcany, during the next few centuries the building changed owners several times and amongst them were a selection of Czech Kings´servants, members of different religious orders and many important Prague burghers.
The recently finished recontruction preserved the original architectural elements, just next to the elevator you can find the original 270 year old staircase. The hotel has all the luxuries you would expect from a four star hotel and with it's great location this in ideal experience for your stay in Prague.
Accommodation - Golden Star Hotel
The hotel offers just 26 rooms, either double rooms, twin rooms or suites. They are furnished to a high standard and have bath/shower, Satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, safe and hairdryer.
Unique to this hotel are the views of the King's Road and Prague Castle and the original period furniture, specially selected for each room.
Restaurants and Bars
When it's time to have dinner, the hotel is very proud to recommend their restaurant which offers excellent cuisine and service. A wide range of tempting dishes is offered in the tradition of the finest Czech or international cuisine.
The restaurant is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Seating is available for 70 guests. The restaurant offers Czech, International and Vegetarian cuisine. It is also an unforgettable setting for your wedding banquet or graduation celebration.
