Perhaps the hotel’s best attribute is its perfect location. Just steps away from the Savoy in this chic neighborhood in the heart of historical Prague, is Prague Castle - the former seat of Bohemian kings and now the seat of the President and Prague´s most famous landmark - here you will find stunning St. Vitus Cathedral, and Strahov Monastery - one of the oldest monasteries in Europe featuring an amazing Baroque library - probably the largest privately owned library in the whole world. From here it is only a few minutes walk to the medieval Charles Bridge with more than 30 elaborate statues, and Old Town Square where you can admire the famed medieval Astronomical Clock or just linger in one of the cafés on the square.
Accommodation - Savoy Hotel
The Savoy Hotel Prague offers 55 luxuriously appointed Deluxe and Executive rooms and 4 Junior Suites. All of these spacious rooms and suites are warmly decorated in schemes of bordeaux, royal blue and honey yellow. The ´Savoy Suite´ and the ´Grand Presidential Suite´ have large terraces with spectacular views over the red rooftops of the Hradcany district and Prague Castle.
Every possible convenience is provided in every room: air-conditioning, satellite TV/radio, DVD-player, telephone, high speed internet, safe, smoke detectors, sprinklers and writing desk. Furthermore the minibar is complimentary.
The large marble bathrooms feature a separate toilet, a separate shower and a bath tub, and are equipped with hair-dryer, cosmetic bar and bathrobes. A non-smoking floor and one room for disabled travellers are available. Baby cots and wheelchairs are available at no surcharge.
Executive rooms are either doubles or twins, providing a space of an average of 30 – 35 sq.m and can be connected to adjoining deluxe rooms.
Deluxe rooms are either doubles or twins, providing a space of an average of 35– 40 sq.m .
There are 4 Junior suites each providing a space of an average of 50 sq.m. Junior suites have a king size bed.
The Junior Suite No.801 on the 8th floor and the adjoining Deluxe room No.802 have a separate entrance from the main hotel corridor and can be ideally used as a large family suite. In addition the Deluxe room No.802 can be connected with the adjacent Deluxe room No.803, which offers an apartment of 3 rooms with an area of 120 sqm in total.
The ´Savoy Suite´ or ´Honeymoon suite´, located on the 8th floor provides 60 sq.m and it´s own private terrace of 50 sq.m. Here you may enjoy a marvellous view over the rooftops of the Prague Castle area.
Bars and Restaurants
The Restaurant Hradcany offers National and International cuisine and is one of the best restaurants in Prague (recently nominated in the top ten in Maurer´s gourmet book). Only the freshest ingredients are used and monthly specialities are offered.
