Overview - SPA Hotel Meri

The 3 star Saaremaa Spa Hotel Meri is located on a beautiful seaside promenade close to the yacht harbour and Kuressaare Town Park. The hotel rooms are located over three floors in the hotel section, which, together with the medical treatment and sports section, form the whole health centre.
The spa hotel has all necessary facilities for the perfect spa break with your family or friends. The hotel is also an excellent choice for incentive travellers and conferences, seminars, and receptions. In addition, business clients can use the relaxing spa treatments that are available, dine at the restaurant, or enjoy the possibilities offered by the swimming pool, sauna and bowling alley.

Accommodation - SPA Hotel Meri

The SPA Hotel Meri can accommodate 264 people in 132 rooms.There are 21 single rooms, 94 double rooms, 15 suites, 7 of which have their own additional sauna and there are two rooms for the disabled. Every room has an en-suite bathroom with shower, TV, radio, telephone, and the option of ordering an extra bed. Some of the rooms have a balcony or a terrace. All the rooms are allergy-free.

Restaurant and Bars

Restaurant Marine is situated on the first floor of Spa-Hotel Meri on the side of the bay. This an a la carte restaurant with 150 seats and is the perfect place to have a quiet lunch or dinner with your business partners or friends, enjoying the unforgettable view on Kuresaare bay, bishopric castle and town park. In addition to the spacious restaurant itself it is possible to reserve a banquet hall for 50 persons. During the summer months the hotels terrace is open, where guests can enjoy coffee and cocktails. Every weekday there is dance music and show programs - dance nights, show groups, ballroom dancers and folk dance groups.
On the ground floor of the SPA hotel Meri, beside the Bowling, there is a lobby bar. The bar is open daily from 10:00 to 01:00.

THERAPY SERVICES
Meri Spa Hotel offers its clients a wide choice of refreshing treatments. Meri’s unique feature is its salt chamber, which is primarily used for sufferers of respiratory diseases, although it is also helpful with cases of allergic rashes. The mud cure also has an important place at Meri. Excellent results have been achieved with the use of the ozocerite-paraffin treatment. The Atlantis massage bath is also popular. Different variants on the main programme allow bathers to direct their treatment to the exact spot that is causing the problem, or to massage their entire body. The water treatment department also has pearl baths, the footbath, and a Charcot shower. And don’t forget massage! It is an irreplaceable part of any treatment. The aroma massage and the foot treatment massage are really effective. Electropathy, laser, magnet and ultrasound therapy are also given a lot of attention in Meri.

At Meri Spa Hotel you can enjoy modern body treatments, all personalized to suit the client’s needs. There are also cosy salons where clients can enjoy the services of hairdressers and specialists with up-to-date professional training in facial, hand and foot care.

Other Facilities

Spa Hotel Meri also offers you the opportunity of taking part in aerobics classes, or making use of the sauna, swimming pool, gym, bowling alley, billiards and conference halls for 14 or 100 people, as well as the Business Lounge for 35 people. The halls have all the equipment necessary for carrying out a successful conference or seminar.

At the end of November 2006 the first golf simulator in Estonia was opened at the Saaremaa SPA Hotel Meri. Players can choose from fifteen golf courses from all over the world, including those of the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai and the Moscow Country Club in Russia.
In addition, clients can use several services: transfer, car rental, excursions, tennis, steam sauna, the gym, water aerobics, wireless internet, car parking, shops, and money exchange, etc.

Kuressare mud resort

Spa Hotel Meri is part of a group of four hotels in the Kuressaare mud resort and clients are very welcome to use the facilities at the sister hotels of Spa Hotel Ruutli, Spa Hotel Saaremaa Valss and Guesthouse Merineitsi.
Kuressaare mud resort started its actual operation already in 1964. The resort has always aimed at offering the visitors the best treatment and enjoyable leisure. Today the friendly health resorts, the most modern in Baltic countries, are welcoming the visitors.

The Spa-Hotel Saaremaa Valss carries the tradition of mud therapy in Saaremaa. Its therapy wing was founded in 1978, the hotel was thoroughly renovated in 1997. Due to constantly increasing interest in choosing Saaremaa as holiday destination, cosy and friendly Guesthouse Merineitsi next to the resort was renovated in May 2001.
In December 2002 a totally new type of Spa-Hotel Rüütli was opened, located close to Kuressaare medieval Bishopric Castle, Town Park and seaside promenade. Rüütli offers high-quality hotel and medical services, a water centre with different attractions, swimming pools and saunas - you can spend your holidays in an exciting and healthy way.
