Overview - Eurohostel, Helsinki

Eurohostel is next to the Katajanokka sea terminal area, just a short walk from the sights, shops and restaurants of downtown Helsinki. Guests at Eurohostel find everything close at hand. Even the ferry boat ride to Helsinki zoo is only 300 metres away. Tram no. 4 takes you to the city centre.

Eurohostel provides clean and comfortable overnight accommodation in the centre of Helsinki. The hostel is ideal for budget-conscious travellers, as you only pay for the services that you need. We also take special care to make sure that you sleep well. We welcome individual guests, families and larger groups.

Accommodation - Eurohostel

The Eurohostel has five accommodation floors with 135 rooms and 255 beds. You can choose single, twin or triple rooms from two different room categories. They all have a table, chair, and at least one lockable wardrobe in all the rooms.
In the Eurohostel rooms there is also a TV. On each floor there are toilets and showers for men and women.
Each of the five floors has its own self-catering facilities with hot plates, microwave, lockable refrigerator and TV. There are saunas on the top floor.

All floors have separate showers and WC facilities for men and women.

Sauna
Our seventh floor saunas are heated daily. Morning sauna from 06:30 to 09:30 is included in the room rate – evening sauna charge € 5.00 per person.The sauna can accommodate up to 10 bathers at a time.

Sauna for private use
Price € 45.00.
A two-hour sauna with towels between 16:30 and 22:00 for ten bathers. Sauna snacks and refreshments may be ordered in advance.

A buffet breakfast is served in the Katajanmarja restaurant from 06:00 to 10:00 on weekdays and 08:00 to 11:00 at weekends and Bank Holidays.
Meals
The restaurant also serves lunch, dinner and à la carte meals. Fully-licensed. Group dining may also be arranged.

There is a self-service kitchen on all accommodation floors. The kitchen is equipped with hot-plates, refrigerator, microwave oven and television. Pots and pans are in the kitchen and you may purchase disposable dishes and cutlery at reception.

Daily check-in as of 14:00 - rooms to be vacated by 12:00.
Please enquire at reception by no later than 12:00 on the scheduled day of departure if you would like to extend your stay or keep your room until 18:00
Reception, restaurant, self-service launderette, public telephones, left luggage, storage lockers and disabled WC on ground floor. Helsinki Cards and other travel items and services available at 24-hour reception.

Launderette
There is a coin-operated launderette on the reception floor. The launderette has two washing machines, a spin dryer and a tumble dryer. These machines may be used whenever vacant. The washing machines and tumble dryer are coin-operated - change is available at reception. Washing powder is sold in a wending machine in the lobby. The launderette is open between 06:00 and 23:00 every day. Your room key opens the launderette door.

There are two card-operated public telephones in the lobby and a guest telephone for incoming calls.
There is also a paid Internet connection on the reception floor.

The kiosk is coin or credit card operated.
