The 4 star Hotel Kazakhstan is situated in downtown Almaty, overlooking the snow peaks of the Alatau Mountain Range, with a panoramic view of Almaty on the other side. The 25 storey hotel, is unique in design and over 100 metres tall. It has a great location and is within walking distance to the major museums, attractions, theatres, and restaurants. The hotel can be viewed from any part of Almaty, it is the tallest building in Kazakhstan!

The hotel offers 448 rooms and there are several different categories of rooms and styles. For the budget concious you can opt for the non-renovated rooms but these have not been renovated since the hotel opened, so expect a typical 'old soviet' style of room, basic and equivalent to a Western 1 star hotel. In this category you can book single rooms, double or twins and three rooms.
The standard rooms were renovated recently and offer a good standard of accommodation and the deluxe rooms are for those looking for something a little bit more special in a modern design, free tea/coffee making facilities and mineral water.
All of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms, Satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar and Internet access. Safes are available in Standard and Deluxe Rooms.
