Overview - Baltic Beach Hotel

The elegant 5 star Baltic Beach Hotel is famous for its luxury SPA centre, one of the best in Europe, serving more than 400 treatments in 4500 square meters. The Baltic Beach Hotel was fully renovated in 2004 and is located in the very centre of Jurmala, on the beach of the Gulf of Riga. It is only a 15 minute drive away from the Riga International airport and 25 km from the very centre of Riga. The hotel is situated in the protected sand dunes area, ensuring a peaceful and relaxed stay although you are within two minutes walking distance from the city centre. The Baltic Beach has one of the biggest spa centres in Europe and offers a wide range of activities for you during your stay whether it be in summer or winter. There is also a conference centre with 11 rooms which can take up to 1000 participants.
The famous Aqua Park is just 2 km away and the hotel is right on the beach! The hotel operates a free minibus transfer service to/from Riga town centre.

Accommodation - Baltic Beach Hotel

The Baltic Beach Hotel has a total of 165 rooms, suites and apartments. There is a choice of smoking and non smoking rooms and special rooms for guests who bring small pets.
There are three category sections:
Amber section (5 star) - all rooms have balconies and large windows with a beautiful view to the sea.
Coral section (4 star) - comfortable and cosy rooms are facing the yard side or pine forest.
Bismuth section (3 star economy) - these rooms are very basic. They are economy class rooms which have not been renovated and this is reflected in the price.
Within each category there are standard, superior and comfort rooms too.

Suite JURMALA
This 3 room suite features 1 King size and 1 Queen size bed, a bath room, hairdryer, sofa and two armchairs, airconditioning, Sat. & Pay TV, telephone, Internet access, mini bar, private safe, bathrobe, slippers and what is more important, a separate exit to the terrace.

Apartments

Located on the 1st floor, this apartment offers guests one bedroom along with two guestrooms including a fireplace and a kitchen. Apartments are equipped with private bathrooms and separate WC. Outside terrace and a sauna with its own private shower.

Golden Beach Apartments
Located on the 1st and 2nd floor, these apartments offer guestrooms with fireplace and kitchen and comprise of one bedroom and two guestrooms (one with private balcony). There are also two bathrooms with separate WC. These apartments also offer a sauna with private shower along with an outside terrace and a balcony.

Bars and Restaurants

The Baltic Beach Hotel offers different choice of restaurants and bars. Caviar Club is the restaurant serving European cuisine with a wonderful view towards the sea. It offers a wonderful wine list and has a summer terrace too.
Italian il Sole Restaurant is a sunny restaurant in Mediterranean style with fantastic views over the sea. Here you can enjoy both traditional and extravagant meals of Italian cuisine. Live music is played here from 7.30 - 10.30 pm.
Bar "Retro" is open from 6pm - 6am!! It has a seventies style atmosphere and offers different cocktails, "Sushi", video program, excellent choice of cigars and Russian billiards!
The lobby bar offers a wide range of tea, coffee, fresh juice and cakes. and live music is played here in the afternoons.

Baltic Beach Spa

A variety of treatments is available at the Baltic Beach Spa - Wellness Spa (open daily 8.00 to 22.00)
The experts of the SPA Centre use all natural products for their treatments. The specially selected natural products are an integral part of procedures and programmes reinforcing their efficiency and contributing harmony to the body and soul.

Facilities and Services

The Baltic Beach Hotel offers a range of other services too such as business centre, room service and car parking. There is a gift shop in the hotel and a laundry and dry cleaning service is available. For children there is a play room and playground area. You can hire beach equipment and towels and there is a cash machine too.

The Baltic Beach Sport Centre is a modern fitness club in Jurmala, with up-to-date technical equipment. The Sports Club has several halls suited to different sports activities, as well as the only swimming pool in the Baltic States using sea water.
Swimming classes
The swimming pool has a slide for children and 3 cascades, it can be used for private and group swimming classes for children and adults.
Water aerobics is available in the pool too.
Body building gym
The gym has a wide range of machines and weights equipment. Classes and individual training sessions are able to be arranged too.

Conference Facilities

The Baltic Beach Hotel offers 11 conference rooms. They are perfectly suited for conferences, seminars, exhibitions, banquets, etc. Each room can be arranged and provided with technical equipment according to your requirements.
The hotel can take a total capacity of 1000 participants.

Contractor's View - Baltic Beach Hotel

This Baltic Beach Hotel is right on the beach and a good choice for families and those who want a lot to to in the hotel. The 3 star economy rooms are probably equivalent to a 2 star/1star hotel and it is worth paying the extra to upgrade, especially if you are staying more than a couple of nights. A great choice for those who are looking for spa treatments but advisable to pre-book for these.
