Restaurant Bergs, decorated in a contemporary style, has been thoughtfully designed to provide guests with possibilities of calm and intimate retreat in the business centre of one of the most exciting city parts. The modern interior is accented with African colours and design elements. Restaurant has a nice glass veranda and summer terrace with a view on the hotel courtyard and beauteous fountain. There, on summer terrace, people can enjoy the calm and leisured life of Bergs Bazaar.
Restaurant Bergs under the leadership of chef Kaspars Jansons provides our elitist clients with exquisite cuisine and distinguished service. The restaurant menu offers more to the considerate gourmand. The artful presentation of any of the outstanding dishes on offer is yet another chance to feast your eyes as well as stomach.
Buffet Breakfast with warm à la carte dishes is served from 7:30am – 11:00am
A three course lunch meal is served every working day from 12:00pm – 16:00pm. Every other week the menu is changed, providing guests new taste delights.
A seasonal gourmet 5-course dinner is available every day except Sundays when the restaurant is closed.
Other Facilities
The glass-enclosed fitness centre has views of Riga’s rooftops and is equipped with state-of-the-art exercise machines. For those guests who prefer taking their exercise outside, Vermanes Park and the Riga canal are less than 200m from the hotel. For the ultimate in well-being, guests may also book massages in the fitness centre.
Use of the fitness centre is complimentary for all guests of the hotel. The changing rooms have saunas, showers, towels and hairdryers

The UK’s issue Tatler’s Travel Guide 2005 included Hotel Bergs among the top 10 boutique hotels worldwide.
The World Association of Chefs′ Societies at the Global Chef’s Challenge finals for Northern Europe in 2007 awarded the chef of the Bergs restaurant, Kaspars Jansons, with the 8th place and with a special prize for the best choice of wine to accompany the taste bouquet for the meal prepared.

This hotel is truly relaxing, yet highly stylish. For those who seek a hotel offering 'relaxed sophistication' coupled with a fine selection of interesting artwork and objets d'art (all from the owners' private collection) this is one of my hotels of choice, as a base for exploring Riga. DM
