Overview - Daugirdas Hotel

The 4 star hotel Daugirdas Hotel is right in the heart of the Old Town of Kaunas, in a restored 16th Century building. The hotel has one of the best locations and is just 50 metres from the Town Hall and in walking distance of all the main historical sights in the city, such as Kaunas Castle and the Thunder House. This is the sister hotel to the Perkuno Namai which has a well established reputation in the Old Capital city of Lithuania.

Accommodation - Daugirdas Hotel

The hotel consists of two buildings, one modern and one original building and there is a glass roof joining the two, giving the hotel a fabulous light and airy feeling to it. There is a total of 48 single, double and lux rooms, 25 of which are situated in the older part of the building and 23 in the newly built part. All of the rooms have en-suite shower/bathroom with underfloor heating and hairdryers and there are rooms equipped for disabled clients and rooms for smokers and non-smokers too. Each room has two telephones, Satellite TV, WIFI free Internet connection, mini-bar and air conditioning.

Bars and Restaurants

There are two bars in the hotel, City Bar is the perfect place for good conversation and meeting people. It is situated on the first floor and also serves confectionary products, pastries and teas and coffees.
On the fourth floor under a glass roof, offering magnificent views of the Old Town roofs, is the Winter Garden cocktail bar. There is also an open air terrace which is the ideal location for summer cocktail parties.

There are three restaurant halls in the 16th Century Gothic cellars. The 'White Hall' with its lovely old fireplace can take up to 60 people in one sitting and is also used for banquets and events. The 'Flambe Hall' can hold up to 18 people and is the perfect place for a dinner party or private party with your friends. Here the dishes are cooked on the open fire. The 'Wine Hall' offers a wide range of quality wines from temperature controlled vaults. You can hire out the 'Wine Hall' for special gastronomic and wine tasting events.

Conference Facilities

There are several conference halls within the hotel, the largest can take up to 110 participants, theatre style, the medium up to 40 and there is a small room for up to 4 people. Technical support and equipement cna be provided. All of the conference halls are air conditioned and have wireless internet access.
