Overview - Dar Anika Hotel
Dar Anika Riad is a traditional town house hotel, situated at the entrance to the old Souk and close to the Djemma el Fna. It is modern in build, traditional in design and homely to stay in.
We hope that in the design and staffing of the Riad we provide all you need to make your stay "a succession of little pleasures".
The ground floor centres on the exquisite 'marble carpet' central courtyard. Off the courtyard are the swimming pool (heated - a rarity for Marrakech) and hammam. The traditional salon is separated by picture windows allowing for air-conditioned cool in summer and a warm log fire in winter.
Unusually for Marrakech, the Riad is British owned and we cater for British guests in our management style and attitude, and not just by the provision of traditional British afternoon tea!
Accommodation - Dar Anika Hotel
There are 9 rooms and one suite, all of different sizes and decor. All rooms are air-conditioned and have direct dial telephones and wi-fi internet connection. None have TV’s or sound systems to preserve the peace of the experience. The standard rooms have a double bed with en suite bathrooms and/or showers. Beautifully decorated in traditional style they provide peaceful accommodation.
Other Facilities
There is a breakfast (and sundowner) terrace on the first floor. The roof terrace has tables for breakfast, lunch and dinner, sun beds and a splendid 'Arabian Nights' tent for lounging in the shade during the day and dining or a late drink in the evenings. In the evening the whole riad is lit up with candles and on colder nights braziers are lit on the terrace. There is also a heated swimming pool! Massage and hammam available.
Cancellation Terms
Cancellations 20 - 10 days before arrival incur 50% cancellation charge of the whole stay.
Cancellations 10 days or less before arrival incur 100% cancellation charge of the whole stay.
There is a minimum stay of 5 nights from 22 December - 05 January.
