The hotel Hippocampe is situated in the prime location in Oualidia opposite the opening of the lagoon into the Atlantic ocean. Its outside terrace bar is a perfect place to relax and unwind with a drink whilst watching the local fishermen or boats ferrying people across the lagoon.
The hotel has beautiful gardens and a large swimming pool. The standard rooms are built in bungalow style and are all of a good size, clean and simple. The standard rooms do not have a view of the ocean, since they lie behind the main hotel building and gardens.

Standard Room
These rooms are spacious set back behind the main hotel in a bungalow style. Each room has an ensuite bathroom with fan cooling (A/C is not needed here). The rooms are set amongst some very pretty gardens. Simple, clean and comfortable. Half Board.
Ocean Suites
These two suites have a small patio overlooking the lagoon. They are more spacious than the standard rooms, but are still fairly simple but alos comfortable. Ensuite bathrooms with A/C. Half Board.
