Overview - Tumski Hotel
The 3 star Tumski Hotel is a small, friendly hotel with a great family atmosphere, it has a fabulous location on the Island Slodowa in the centre of Wroclaw. The hotel is just a few metres away from Ostrow Tumski with its famous cathedral and then if you cross the Art Nouveau bridge, you will get from the Slodowa Island to Ostrów Tumski, the oldest and the most picturesque part of Wroclaw. This historic building was opened as a hotel in the year 2000, in the past the building was used as a banqueting room with a brewery, then a Millers school and after that a secondary school training those who wanted to enter into the catering industry. This is now a very comfortable 3 star hotel with a great restaurant on the ground floor!
Accommodation - Tumski Hotel
The Hotel offers 14 single rooms and 38 double rooms, each of the rooms is quite spacious with modern style furniture. All of the rooms have an ensuite bathroom, some with shower and some with bathtub. They all have TV, telephone and radio. Some rooms have a fridge and some have internet access too.
Bars and Restaurants
The Mill Inn restaurant is located on the ground floor of the hotel and has a rustic half timbered interior which gives a warm atmosphere, resembling an old inn or tavern. International food is available but the Polish traditional meals and deserts are a particular speciality. In the summer months there is a summer terrace on the banks of the Odra river which has beautiful views of the Old Town. This restaurant is popular with locals and tourists too.
Other Facilities
There is a fully equipped conference centre which is ideal for training sessions, social gatherings, banquets and parties. There is the Fireplace Hall for 40 guests and the Black Hall which can accommodate up to 100 guests. The halls are equipped with a flipchart, slide and transparency projector, screen, TV set, video player, sound system, CD player and Internet connection.
