Overview - Sabala Hotel, Zakopane
The 3 star Sabala Hotel was built in 1894 by Highlander farmer Jan Gasienica - Staszeczek and was named after him. About 100 years ago the hotel welcomed it's first guests.The Hotel was used as a student hotel following the war, and the original proprietors regained their property only in the '70s , when they began gradually returning the residence to its former splendour. In 1996 it was carefully restored with special attention paid to its orginal interiors. The hotel is located in the centre of Zakopane, near by most famous main street ''Krupówki''. The motto of the present owner and staff of Sabala Hotel is to continue the tradition and customs of hotel which was built in 1897.

The Sabala Hotel can accommodate 104 people in 51 double and twin rooms, 6 studios, and 1 suite ( 60 m ),it is also possible to put an extra bed in the rooms. Each room is equipped with shower/bathroom, TV, telephone, Satellite TV and internet connection.
The rooms are furnished in regional style, the furniture is made of solid wood and treated with natural bee wax. The rooms feature the original beams which are over one hundred years old. It all makes for quite an exceptional place to stay!
Bars and Restaurants
The regional restaurant "Karczma Sabala" which is situated on Krupówki street offers local dishes and classical dishes from cuisines from all over the world. There is a very large terrace whre you can sit outside on the famous pedestrianised street and watch the world go by. There is also traditional Polish cuisine too.
