Overview - Hotel Cosmos

The 3 star Hotel Cosmos has a convenient location just 200 metres from the metro station (VDNKha) and 20 minutes drive from the Kremlin. This large well appointed hotel has a wide range of restaurants and facilities, including a business centre, fitness centre, swimming pool and SPA treatments, plus bowling alley and night club. The Hotel Cosmos overlooks the "Losiny Ostrov" ("The Elk Island") National Park and the All-Russia Exhibition Centre (V.V.C.), fairgrounds with various exhibitions and festivals held there. It represents good value for money for business travellers and tourists alike.

Internet access. If you are travelling with a laptop, connect to the Internet right in your guest room. Just get an Internet card at the hotel's Business Centre and set up a dial-up connection according to the Internet card manual. Access is provided via special local telephone line, free of charge for Internet cards.

If you haven't got a PC with you or dial-up connection speed does not meet your requirements, try high-speed Internet connection (at 64 Kbps) in the Business Centre.

This hotel provides 1777 guest rooms of different categories:

Standard Twin Room: One bedroom with a fully equipped bathroom.
De Luxe Suite: Two separate rooms (1 bedroom and drawing rooms) as well as 2 bathrooms.
Junior Suite: One large room with a fully equipped bathroom
Grand Suite - luxurious fully refurbished 2-room apartments: a drawing room, a bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Advantageous location of the room allows to enjoy diverse views of the city.

Each of the rooms comes equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom/wc, satellite TV, a telephone and a minibar.

Planet Cosmos Panoramic Restaurant
The Planet Cosmos panoramic restaurant can be found on the 25th floor of the right wing.
Serving an array of Russian and European cuisine with a large selection of fish and venison specialties.

Terrasa Restaurant-Bar
Terrasa is located right on the main lobby balcony (level 3).

Kalinka Restaurant
Kalinka is the main hotel restaurant where buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. Richness and variety of menu selection would certainly be up to gourmet tastes, about 200 diverse dishes are served here.
Since the complete refurbishment the restaurant is styled as an old Russian country house with a stove.
Every night at dinner-time a folk band performs Russian folk songs, ballads and dances, as an excellent complement to the renovated interior.
Kalinka is one of a few hotel restaurants, where to experience exquisite dishes of the most fresh and fine venison, delivered from organically safe regions.

Konfuci Restaurant
The cosy Konfuci (Confucius) Chinese restaurant has 50 seats, together with traditional Chinese dishes it offers a selection of Japanese food.

Sacvoyage Cafe
Sacvoyage is on the main lobby level, left wing.
Here you will find a wide choice of aperitifs, cocktails, wines and spirits. Freshly brewed draught beer. Variety of meat and fish dishes. Traditional steaks.

For some after-dinner fun, step out into the Solaris Night Club, or try your luck at the Cosmos Casino which is one of the largest casinos in Russia.

Arrival at Hotel Cosmos

We strongly recommend our own transfer service for arrival transfers to the hotel to avoid problems of quality and overcharging - Moscow airport terminals have many taxi services with varying standards of price and quality. We will advise a meeting point and transfer you directly to your hotel promptly and efficiently.

This is a large hotel, well located close to metro connections and with easy access to the city centre, offering exceptional prices for Moscow. With the closure of Ukraine Hotel (the only similar, 4 star hotel) in February 2007, this hotel will be in high demand. Rooms are good, and hotel offers a wide range of services. A safe and reliable base for buisness and leisure travellers.
