Overview - Hotel National

The 5-star deluxe Hotel National, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Moscow, occupies one of the best locations in the city for both business and leisure. Built in 1903, the hotel reflects the styles of eclecticism and modern, both popular in Europe at the turn of the century. Recently renovated, the Hotel National, located in the heart of the capital, overlooks the Kremlin and is just a few minutes walk from Red Square and the Bolshoi Theatre. A truly famous Moscow hotel! The hotel has recently become part of the prestigious Luxury Collection Group of hotels.

Accommodation - Hotel National

The hotel’s 150 guest rooms and 56 suites are richly decorated with antique Russian objects d’art. Built in 1903 by Russian architect Alexander Ivanov, Hotel National offers stylish comfort and elegant luxury in the heart of Moscow.

There is a unique collection of 37 antique suites with breathtaking views over Red Square, the Kremlin and St Basil's Cathedral. Some have unique ceiling paintings. Each room has its own original antique furniture dating back to the time of Louis XV and the Tsarist Empire.

On the National Club floor, the bedrooms are fully furnished with up-to-date office equipment, providing an ideal environment for business. In March 1918, the hotel became the 'First House of Soviets' and accommodated members of the Bolshevik government. Vladimir Lenin, the leader of the government, stayed in room 107 before he moved to the Kremlin.

Moskovsky Restaurant - the award-winning restaurant, acknowledged by Moscow Government as 'The Best National Cuisine of Hotel Restaurant 2002' and 'The Best Hotel Restaurant of Moscow 2003', offers an extensive choice of original Russian and European recipes.
The restaurant has panoramic windows overlooking the Kremlin and features live piano music in the evening.
Each month the Chef creates a special dish according to the national events and gastronomy specifics.
Buffet and continental breakfast, and lunch served daily.

Alexandrovsky Bar - known as 'the winter garden' because of natural green trees growing under its glass roof.
The bar serves light meals, a wide range of beverages and the best pastries in the city.
During spring and summer time, you are invited to taste our BBQ menu on the open fire.

Buffet breakfast is served from 7.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. on weekdays, and from 7.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. on weekends.
