Customer Reviews of Park Inn Sadu
The hotel’s location was very convenient – just a few minutes walk from a metro station and within walking distance from Red Square (for those who like to walk).
It is also a couple of minutes walk from Tretiakof Art Gallery. Its rooms are comfortable and clean and breakfast (included in the price) was satisfactory. The staff were helpful. However, there are a few comments I would like to make. First of all, there was an issue on our first night there. We had specifically asked for three non-smoking rooms, but when we got to the hotel, two of the rooms were on a “smoking” floor. One of the rooms in particular had a strong cigarette smell. We asked them to change the room, but the person in charge initially said there were no non-smoking rooms available that night. On our insistence, a room (probably an upgraded one) was found for that first night and then another switch was made on the following day for the remainder of our stay there. It all worked out well in the end but it was frustrating to have to argue on our arrival. Also, I had originally asked for a transfer from the railway station to the hotel and I was told that it was easy to reach the hotel by metro or taxi. It was probably our mistake to attempt to go by metro but we did not know at that point that one has to use both stairways and escalators in most metro stations in Moscow and doing so with luggage is very difficult. Finally there was an issue with the minibar in the rooms. They were locked and one had to pay 3000 rubles which would be returned at the end of one’s stay. There are two points I would like to make here. First of all, if it is summer, one needs to have cold water during one’s stay and this would be impossible if the minibar is locked. Also, if Moscow is the last destination of one’s stay, one would be left with 3000 rubles.Overall, we would recommend this hotel to visitors.ED (Greece), Thu, 23 Aug 2012 07:56:00 GMT
Location is handy to Metro and Sally O'Brien's Irish pub to watch tennis or other sport which the hotel did not cover. Internet in the room was extra and I can't figure how hotels think this basic service should be extra when water, electricity and TV are free or included in their costs. Also that there was no fridge or air- conditioning is amazing for someone who has always had both even in a 2 start hotel. Summer in Russia is not cold. Seems in Europe it does not form part of the star rating system and so one has ot ask for fans, if available. Overall disappointed with the hotel and value though they did have a toaster and that was unusual for Russia in my experience.SK, Tue, 28 Jun 2011 13:15:00 GMT

After more than 10 years travelling to Mosow on a regular I have finally found a service that is quick, easy, reliable and reasonably priced.
Thank you very much
Thanks for the arrangements you made for us at the Park Inn. We were VERY pleased with the hotel (especially its proximity to the Kremlin and to the Tretyakov Gallery). We had no problem getting the visa, thanks to your "sponsor" letter from the hotel. And the taxi taking us from the airport to the hotel was waiting for us as we exited the customs area at the airport.EBM, Tue, 18 Aug 2009 07:32:00 GMT
