Overview - Nevsky Hotel Aster
The 2 star plus Nevsky Aster Hotel is situated very close to the main sights of St.Petersburg as the Hermitage, Palace Square, the Kazan and St. Isaac's Cathedral, Saviour-on-Blood church, the Admiralty. The mini hotel Nevsky Hotel Aster consists of 9 rooms on the 2nd floor of 25, Bolshaya Konnuyshennay Street in the "Golden Triangle" of St. Petersburg.
The hotel has a small kitchen-cafe where guests have breakfast.
Not far from the hotel there are modern cafes and restaurants, night clubs, casinos and shops.

The hotel has 38 rooms. The 20 x Double and 13 x Twin rooms are equipped for two persons. They all have wardrobes, tables, mirrors, safe-boxes, bathrooms with shower or bath. Several rooms have Jacuzzi.
The hotel has 5 suite rooms. Free wireless Internet access (Wi-Fi) in the rooms.

I truly enjoyed my three days stay at hotel (Aster). It is perfectly situated in a very charming surrounding, close to the highlights of St. Petersburg. The service was excellent, the staff very gentle and helpful and the breakfasts very rich. I will certainly come back to your nice and comfortable hotel . Best wishes

Both Barbie and I had a wonderful holiday, thank you very much for all your kind attention in dealing with and handling our visas etc All the travel arrangements, pickups and visits which were prearranged went smoothly. We greatly enjoyed our trip to Catherine Palace, our guide was very helpful and informative.
The hotel was in a superb location which made walking to all the major sites very viable. One slight criticism was that initally Barbie and I were allocated a shared twin room. This was resolved within an hour with Barbie remaining in the twin and I moving to a different location within the hotel & getting a double. However both rooms were satisafctory and the breakfast were also enjoyable and the staff helpfu.
So many thanks, and we will be definitely be using and recommending select a room in future.

I have booked and occupied a single room at the hotel Nevsky Aster in st. Petersburg, Russia, from 5-8/1/2009. It was far better than expected for the two stars that I have seen in the guide. It is very centrally located, in the street that Turgenieff was considering as his home, and yet not noisy at all. The quality of service and of the room, cleanliness and breakfast could equal ones of 4 stars. Of course the hotel has no facilities other than the room and the reception service. But at this quality, at this low price and only 300 mt from Hermitage and St Isaac, this is what we call BARGAIN. Thank you a lot
