Riga Old Town

Riga

City Information
Overview
Riga is the capital of the Republic of Latvia and the geographical centre of the Baltic States.
The city's cross-roads location between Western Europe and huge Eastern markets has always been - and still is - one of Riga's attractions for business activities.
Riga is so diverse in its character: some visitors will enjoy the Old Town - the most ancient part of the city that has been preserved from the 13th century, others might be interested in the Jugendstyle architecture and the boulevard ensembles that were formed at the end of the last century and have been nominated the world's architectural monuments by UNESCO experts.
